REGENTS PREP

  • The New York State ELA Regents Exam is a three-hour standardized test that measures high school students' proficiency to gauge their college and career success.

    The test covers:

    Language: grammar, figurative language, vocabulary, and spelling.

    Literature: word choice, literary elements, and author’s purpose

    Informational Text: word choice and tone, structure, and author’s point of view.

    Writing: three types of academic writing (argumentative, informative, and narrative essays) and the process of writing including brainstorming ideas, drafting, and revising.

Regents Examinations are statewide standardized examinations in core high school subjects. Students can often struggle with these exams, as they encompass various topics they have learned over an entire year. At DIM-EDU, we offer an extensive Regents prep program that includes the following:
